Data sources

A published HeyPatong listing is first-party: its name, description, categories, hours, contact details and photos are entered or approved by HeyPatong reviewers, or supplied by the business itself once it has claimed the listing.

To build coverage of Patong we use place data from mapping providers, currently Google Places, as a reference for identity: name, address and coordinates. Provider-owned content — ratings, reviews, photos, hours and contact details — stays attributed to the provider, is shown only where the provider's terms allow, is fetched on demand rather than permanently stored, and is never copied into a merchant-owned HeyPatong listing.

The administrative boundary used to define Patong and neighbouring coverage areas comes from GISTDA's public Thai administrative boundary service.

Outside the production site, HeyPatong may show unreviewed provider-backed places labelled “pending HeyPatong review”. These are reference previews, not HeyPatong listings, are excluded from search engines, and carry no verification, ranking claim or commercial relationship.

HeyPatong does not host its own reviews and does not publish rating scores as if they were ours. Where a provider rating is displayed, it is labelled with its source.

Anyone can report incorrect information from a place page. A business owner can request control of a listing and then supply correct details, which a reviewer applies. See Terms and Privacy.
